      Hi,
I have a pfSense 2.2.6 installation running in "production" and backup hardware with no installation.
The plan is to upgrade to 2.3.3, first on backup system, then production if no issues seen.
The problem is that I do not have 2.2.6 to install on backup hardware.

      What are my upgrade options?
Can I restore 2.2.6 configuration on fresh 2.3.3? Probably not.

I was looking elsewhere for 2.2.6 memstick, but could not find one that doesn't not look shabby. Seems Netgate doesn't make old releases available.
      Thanks in advance,
      shpokas

Old release images are available - I Googled for it and found:
        https://atxfiles.pfsense.org/mirror/downloads/old/

But actually you can do a fresh install of 2.3.3 and restore any old-version config to it. On restoring, the system will reboot and apply all necessary config upgrade steps to bring it up to 2.3.3 level.

As the Greek philosopher Isosceles used to say, "There are 3 sides to every triangle."
