Hi, I have a SG-2440 and received a mail from pfsense telling me how to apply a bios update to work around the intel atom problems

Upgrade went fine but after it was done the web interface is no longer reporting the serial number. instead it says the following:
      System Netgate SG-2440
      Serial:

This normal after a bios upgrade?

I just had this happen on my SG-4860, which I bought from the pfSense store.

The instructions have been updated. If you followed the guide and now your pfSense dashboard shows symbols instead of units serial, please contact us for a fix. It's purely a cosmetic issue so no need to panic. Please contact support@netgate.com if your unit is not displaying a serial. We apologize for any inconvenience.

I followed the new update procedure but it did not restore the serial number, I have mailed support as you instructed.

After emailing support@pfsense.org I got a slightly revised version of the upgrade procedure and it resolved the problem. I am all fine now.

The bios download hasn't changed since the one I downloaded on the 11th, so I assume it's not a change to the flash script itself. If it is a change to instructions on the web site, it's really subtle.

Please provide some detail on this. Also, please note if it affects remote upgrades. Thanks.
