Routing Public IP's With pfSense
-
Is this something that is not recommended and should be using a Cisco router or is it OK to do?
I have a /24 subnet and another IP to route through with my ISP. I has been working for a few months but I have been noticing more and more connectivity problems since the original setup.

pfsense doesn't give 2 shits if the IPs are public or rfc1918.. Yes you can route public networks you own..

Thanks for the reply.
I know I can but I'm just wondering if it is something that is not recommended to do and why.

Pfsense shines as your edge router/firewall - if it couldn't route public or was something you shouldn't do pfsense would be pretty freaking useless ;)
