    Hello,

I have installed pfsense and squid package a few days ago. Every things were ok. I was able to have information in access.log file.

I have restarted the computer yesterday and now i have the wollowing problem in log file : SQUID is installed but not started.  Not installing redirect rules.

There is no more redirection to squid. access.log stay empty.

When i have a to the config.xml file. Every things seems ok :

    <squid><config><active_interface>lan</active_interface>
                                    <allow_interface>on</allow_interface>
                                    <transparent_proxy>on</transparent_proxy>
                                    <private_subnet_proxy_off><defined_ip_proxy_off><log_enabled>on</log_enabled>
                                    <log_dir>/var/squid/log</log_dir>
                                    <log_rotate>1</log_rotate>
                                    <proxy_port>3128</proxy_port>
                                    <icp_port><visible_hostname>localhost</visible_hostname>
                                    <admin_email>admin@localhost</admin_email>
                                    <error_language>French</error_language>
                                    <disable_xforward><disable_via><uri_whitespace>strip</uri_whitespace>
                                    <dns_nameservers><disable_squidversion></disable_squidversion></dns_nameservers></disable_via></disable_xforward></icp_port></defined_ip_proxy_off></private_subnet_proxy_off></config></squid>

When i go to the web gui configuration : Service/proxy server menu and just save the configuration (but i don't change any field). Then squid is working !!!

But if i restart pfsense. I still have the problem again.

Is there somebody who can help me.

    Sorry for my poor english.
