Issues with Link Speed Negotiation after upgrading to 2.3.3_1
-
Has anyone else come across an issue with Link Speed Negotiation upgrading from 2.3.3 to 2.3.3_1? It was a 1000Mbps link before the upgrade and now it only negotiates at 100Mbps.
I have tried to set this manually on my switch but it will no longer talk to my switch at 1000Mbps. It was fine prior to the upgrade.
The PfSense box is built on a Supermicro Motherboard with the C2758 CPU and it has 16GB of RAM.
Is there an easy way of reverting to the previous version without losing my configuration?

Nothing changed in the drivers, or even most of the OS. It is highly unlikely the problem was related to the update, and might have been from the reboot.
That said, the configuration format of both 2.3.3 and 2.3.3-p1 is the same. Backup the configuration, reinstall from a 2.3.3 install disk, then restore the configuration. I'd use that as a last resort since it's likely a red herring and not the true source of the problem.
Before doing that, I'd try the usual things like swapping cables and trying different switch ports, etc.
