Install is hanging?

I'm tying to install phsense for the first time to test. Windows install from USB. It's a a stage saying, "link state changed to UP. Attached is a pic, it's been at this stage for about a 1/2 hour.

Any ideas?

Try pfSense. ;D

But more seriously it looks like you probably have the wrong install image. The last thing you're seeing there is the point where the messages switch to the primary console only until it's completed boot which it can't do on the first boot because it needs to ask about interfaces or if the install has not happened it's waiting for you to agree to installing on the other console.

Your photo is of the VGA console so I suspect you used the serial console image mistakenly.

Try using this install image: https://nyifiles.pfsense.org/mirror/downloads/pfSense-CE-memstick-2.3.3-RELEASE-amd64.img.gz
(assuming that's 64bit capable hardware)
