      Hi all

first of all, I apologize for my bad english.

I 'm asking help because I'm having troubles with the installation of pfsense.

I did it downloading OPNsense-17.1.4-OpenSSL-nano-amd64.img and using as the main storage.

Actually is installed and the first part of
the config was very easy. So I assigned the interfaces and I can reach the web interface. IPs are assigned correctly
      on both LAN and WAN.

The issue is: when I try to enter the web interface, admin / pfsense aren"t accepted.

I tried to follow the instructions to reset the password, but /etc/rc.initial.password is not there.

Has anything changed  in documentation? Is there something I miss?

thanks in advance for any suggestion.

      Loweel

You should download a copy of pfSense here:  https://www.pfsense.org/download/
What you got is a fork which is obviously not supported in here.

Oh, I see. I followed the link from the old monowall website, so I landed in the wrong place.

Ok, I will reinstall the version you mentioned.

          Many thanks.
