Is it possible to have 2 or more wan interfaces on single NIC?
-
Im subscribed to a ISP that lease static IP via PPPoE. And to get the 3 static IP's that I need, I have to login to each PPP credential that my ISP gave me.
Is it possible to have some sort of 2 or more virtual interface that is binded to a single NIC? Since I need a multiple interface that have different mac address on each interface. In linux I can do this using the ip link add command using the macvlan kernel module, with that I can have as many as interface (virtual) I want in single NIC with each of them had their own mac address, and I was able to get all the 3 static IP in this way. But im clueless about freebsd, if is this even possible.
I can do a workaround with 6 port NIC but that's dumb since im connected to same ISP and concentrating them on single cable would be great, since its only 300/300 mbit connection.

Interfaces - Assign - VLANs.

vlans wont work, since im not using vlan on wan interface. its a untagged traffic. and all wan interface connect to same untagged traffic.
yes I know I can do work around again with this using a managed switch to but still that's dumb and nothing different having a 6 port NIC. I can also do this under VMware where creating more virtual NICs attached on a single physical nic of course I prefer running it baremetal.
I need a single NIC (port) to have multiple wan interface (virtual interface).

That is done with VLANS!! If not your just running multiple layer 3 on the same layer 2 which is BORKED!!
Whenever you create a "subinterface" you will always be tagging it with a vlan ID.. This is on every firewall, router I have ever worked on since they started making firewalls and routers. And also when this is done on any sort of OS, be it linux/bsd, etc..
Creating multiple IPs on the same physical interface that are in different networks without tagging is BORKED!!

Well, that is completely broken idea as noted above, plus frankly, if those 3 PPPoE WANs are using the same gateway, you will just get an unsupported setup broken in various more or less cryptic ways, VLANs or not.
