Bridge networks to control broadcast and multicast

Hello.

I have a question about bridging two interfaces and control the broadcast and multicast from passing the bridge.

If i make the bridge and, for example, allow only to pass the bridge connections to IP x ¿will this segment of the network receive broadcasting searching other equipments?

If you don't add firewall rules to allow it it will be blocked.
