I just build my own box, installed pfsense 2.4 and everything is running. I also bought an ubiquiti unifi uap-ac-pro, but I cant seem to get it to work with pfsense..

I have tried finding a step by step guide, but nothing seems to be describing what to do.

Could someone explain to me how to setup pfsense, so that it will be visible in the configuration guide from ubiquti?
I have tried giving the NIC port for the WAP both a static IPv4 adress and a DHCP without any luck.

      currently I'm connected like this
      WAN: igb3 DHCP
      LAN: igb2 static IPv4
WAP:igb1 tried both static and DHCP

You need to use the Ubiquiti Controller, either as a software install on your desktop machine or buy their Cloud Key. Its spelled out in the manual fyi..

        Basically:
Use the Controller to set up the ac-pro and give it a static IP. Then assign the ac-pro the same static IP in pfSense.

Looks like you can get the Controller here:

I'm sorry, must have missed that..  :-[
I was trying to use the inify controller, but thought I had to be on the pfsense network first.
          Will try that. Thank you

There's an app for Apple iOS that can setup one from scratch.  I used that for a while, they I setup a Raspberry Pi with the controller software on it.
