      Hi,

I am using pfsense version 2.3.3 + Freeradius but getting my request dropped. I checked the radius request it's not sending MAC address of client therefore my request getting dropped. Please let me know how to resolve this.

      Request as under:

      NAS-IP-Address = XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
              NAS-Identifier = "openVPN"
              NAS-Port-Type = Virtual
              NAS-Port = 1198
              Called-Station-Id = "XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:1198"
              User-Name = "test"
              User-Password = "test"

      Using Pfsense as NAS.

What is sending the request exactly?  Why would you think an openvpn connection would send mac?

Sure in a auth to a wifi connection you would use mac, since until the client auths to the wifi he wouldn't have an IP..

I am testing Openvpn + ThirdParty Radius (not Freeradius) authentication under that I am unable to see user mac address. is it due to user try to connect over public network?

MAC addresses are local to the connected ethernet segment, they are meaningless on any other context because they are not used in connections that cross routing points.
