3 wan 1 lan load balance

i loaded pfsense but msata on unit was defective so im using a usb for now i set up a load balance between 3 wans all same weight of 1 and configured in firewall. i have 3 250/20 connections my question is my download speed stays around the same but my upload triples is there a setting im missing all help apreciated thanks.
