      Hello,

I did a search for instruction to install watchdog but was unable to find one. Could someone point me in the right direction? Your help would be much appreciated.

      Thanks

If you are talking about hardware watchdog that resets entire pfSense when it's not responding then you basically do not need to install anything — https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=124675.msg693718#msg693718
You need to read ipmitool docs, check if you hardware is supported and if it's supported then use cron package to start the reset watchdog timer, something like```
        /usr/local/bin/ipmitool mc watchdog reset
