Netflow collect data from a mirrored port ?

Hello,
we have a layer 3 switch and for some reason we can not put pfsense as bridge or router in our network so i want know if i set a mirror port on my switch then connect that port to pfsense second lan can pfsense netflow send data to my netflow collector ?
for example mikrotik can not send netflow data to collectors when use a mirrored port so is pfsense same as mikrotik or i can do this?
