I own a FW-7541 Pfsense box. I recently got Verizon Fios gigabit service and the box seems to top out at 500/500mbps on the WAN port. Is the FW-7541 really too old to handle gigabit saturation? If so, anyone know why? I have gone through all of the speed troubleshooting forum posts with no luck. Thanks in advance!

That's about what I expect to see from a D525. We have seen some reports of 600-650Mbps from similar hardware with some tuning but you won't see 1Gbps through it.
