Thinking about upgrading my current Wifi router as I need more coverage. I also want to set up a guest Wifi with captive portal and was thinking of using the Ubiquiti software to configure this over pfsense. Does anyone here have any experience with these and can provide some guidance as to if this is a god solution? Also any gotcha's I should know about?

      Thanks,
      Andy

Don't tick the Guest Policy if you want to use pfsense as the captive portal :-

          I did this as well.
As NogBadTheBad said, don't use the Ubiquiti CP if you plan to use PfSense CP, they will conflict and you'll get no answer from the CP.
