Decrease TCP Poll/Healthcheck time?

I have the load balancer working, noticed when I initiate a failure on a working web that it takes a while to cut over and find that clearing the browser catch immediately helps.

Understand that it will neever be instant but does anyone have any suggestions on tweaks that could made at the client side or on pfsense to help?

(Is the TCP Poll/health check timing adjustable?)
