      Hello all!
First time posting on the forum! So I have this issue with my pfsense box. I have an IPsec site-to-site established with a friend of mine in another country. We've noticed the throughput is not high at all, barely 300-600kb/s transfer speeds. We also set up a site-to-site IPsec between two Ubi ER-X boxes and the transfer speeds are much better ~3mb/s. The problem is, I'd like to keep using pfsense and don't really want to switch to the Ubi router as my main. Is there a way I can set this up or tune my pfsense IPsec site-to-site to be reaching those transfer speeds? Thank you for your help in advance!

You haven't provided any details about the hardware or the VPN configuration so it's impossible to speculate what the bottleneck might be. It could be CPU, it could be the encryption settings, it could be hardware acceleration in the ER-X helping it out, etc.
