Newie here. Some experience with PC hardware but not much on this networking.

I'm installing pfSense 2.3.4 on my old PC (specs below):

      CPU: Intel i5-2500k @3.30 GHz
      Ram: 8 GB
      MB: MSI M7680V3.2
Net: Qualcomm Atheros AR8152/8158 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller (NSID 6.20) On board)
      2-Intel Gigabit CT PCI-E Network Adapter EXPI9301CTBLK (PCIe x1)
      HD: WD10EZEX-00BN5AD ATA 1GB

During install, 1. it appears that it's referencing the 32-bit library, not 64. and 2. I do not get the option for multiprocessing kernal and appears to identify my cpu as a single core.

Is this the way it installs or am I missing something?

      Thanks in advance.

Sorry, newbie mistake. My status dashboard indicates install of the amd64 version and shows 4 CPUs: 1 package(s) x 4 core(s).
