      Hey pfsense community,

      How is everyone today? I have a few question since I am not the brightest when it comes to pfsense. I have a sg4860 at home and I want to reimage it but not sure the best way to do this. I not very savvy with linux commands and rather do this through gui but will do it if needed. I have currently 2.3.4_1 image and want to start from scratch to 2.3.4 - p1. What is the best way to do this? Reset sg4860 back to factory then upgrade? Or is there a fresh install option when installing?

        The installer image will over-write everything on the boot media by default so there is no need to do anything other then re-install.

        The SG-4860 will boot from a USB stick with the installer image on it be default.

        Follow the instructions on the serial console to complete the install process. Choose quick/easy install.

          ok, thanks. Dumb question… How do I know which one I need lol... It has ADI and serial memstick and sha256?

            From your description it sounds like you have current support on that in which case use:
            https://portal.pfsense.org/firmware/memstick/pfSense-netgate-memstick-ADI-2.3.4-RELEASE-p1-amd64.img.gz
