Is it protective plastic film or a thermal sticker?
-
Potentially a dumb question but I just bought my first SG-4860-1U and it has an interesting plastic sticker across the entire top of the unit… Normally I peel off the clear protective stickers that come on equipment but this one is thicker than I'm used to seeing and is not clear like I'm used to. It's translucent; white on top & black on bottom. See attached pics.
Can anyone confirm that it is just a protective sticker for shipping and safe to remove & not some kind of strange thermal sticker that I should leave in place? (As can be seen in the pictures it arrived already torn up & was not very well applied with air pockets in it so I'm hoping it's just a protective sticker that I can remove.)
Thanks

It is to prevent scratches to that surface during assembly, packing, and shipping.
