      Dear All,

I have only 2 Weeks experience with pfSense ( Installed version 2.3.4-RELEASE-amd64). tried bandwidth throttling for whole/few users , is working fine.

Instead of applying throttling for entire team , is there any option to trigger throttling rule only for those users violating per day limit( assume 2 GB).

AFAIK, there is no simple solution with FreeBSD/pfSense. I think it's possible with a Captive Portal or possibly custom scripting.

I am pretty sure Linux has the capability but I couldn't find the feature with a quick Google search.

Please correct any obvious misinformation in my posts.
