What sort of device is it?

It's possible FreeBSD doesn't have a driver for that controller, or perhaps there is a BIOS setting that is putting it into a mode that the OS can't talk to.

You might try a pfSense 2.4 snapshot (https://snapshots.pfsense.org/)

          it's a UPSquared

the exact model is in my signature.

I'm hoping the 32GB m2 drive I bought arrives today so it might not matter.

How things are going on, friends?

I can't see the eMMC while installing pfsense (recent snapshot) on Gigabyte el 20 3710 too. Any suggestion, please?

I try disable secure boot, select the Legacy 64bit and it doesn't help :(

              Please help me!

as far as I could work out pfsense doesnt support emmc yet so I ran it off a USB stick for a while but I was having other problems so I've temporarily switched to ipfire so i can concentrate on classwork.

Careful with your wording. pfSense most certainly does support eMMC as we have been selling devices that run off eMMC for years and they work well. FreeBSD may not support your board's specific storage controller but it is not an issue with supporting eMMC in general.
