      Hello!

      Does anyone have experience installing pfSense 1.2 on Gigabyte GA-GC230D motherboard? The SATA controller (ICH7) and LAN controller (Realtek 8101E) are listed as supported by FreeBSD 6.2, but especially with Realtek it's hard to tell what the NIC really is until you get your hands on it, so before I commit my € it would be nice to hear some real world stories.

        Having received no feedback, I went on and bought the motherboard anyway. The good news is that the onboard Ethernet is recognized and there seem to be no other problems. I haven't tried to really use it yet, though.
