      Purchased an SG-4860-1U with the belief that access would be granted to the book, as it states in the getting started guide under "Connecting to the Console".  I can't seem to figure out how to get access.

        you probably want to register your device … no clue how todo that exactly, but i guess https://portal.pfsense.org/ is good place to start

          Simply go to this page, keep the pfSense Gold for Community Support selected and fill out the rest of information. No CC info needed, only your Netgate device ID. After registering you can login to portal.pfsense.org and access Gold resources, including the pfSense Book.

            Thanks for the replies, but I have tried those pages.

            Is the device ID not the serial number?  I don't see any other type of identification on the unit, or in the box.

            This one, If I entered the Serial, I get: “No coupons found with such coupon code”.

              Netgate device ID is on your pfSense dashboard. System information widget, under System.
