Many of my displays dont have a lot of contrast and some not very good resolution, many are tiny. So when I look at pfsense  various configuration pages that use a green check versus a dimmed check I have a really hard time differentiating. I also have poor vision.

I have made a lot of errors thinking a check indicates ON when it actually is OFF because the color and contrast is so close.

My suggestion is for the ON or Enabled indicator to be a green check as it currently is.
But for the OFF or Disabled use a red X. This red X should be the same relative brightness as the green check. In other words, not dimmed.

This trivial change would go a very long way to help us with poor vision and also small or low res or poor color displays.

      thanks
