      Downloaded pfSense-CE-2.3.4-RELEASE-amd64

Booted from USB CD Drive on this mobo

      http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/QC5000M/

Loads of disc activity but screen stays blank and monitor BIOS reports 'Out of Range'

      Where now?

      Cheers

Tried every single BIOS option I can now and its a no go :|

Admittedly the BIOS is quite limited on that board. No BIOS updates available either.

Please read board manual on page 45 about CSM, make sure it is enabled in UEFI
          ftp://europe.asrock.com/Manual/QC5000M.pdf
If it does not help, please try upcoming 2.4 pfSense beta.

Thanks for reply. Its exactly as in the screen shot [CSM Enabled, rest on legacy]

Will give the beta a shot as you mention…
