      Hi!

i wanna buy a new 3in1 printer from brother. Brother DCP-L5500DN. it has network support.

      1. is there a package available for using pfsense as a print server?
      2. is there a list where i can see which printer is supported by pfsense or freebsd ?
      3. can i use the rpm or deb packages ?

Do you really need printserver on pfSense for device that already have one?

pfSense is not a print server. Get a Raspberry Pi or other cheap ARM board to be your print server.

pfsense is a firewall, not a printserver.

There is also no reason to connect that to the firewall in any way. It is a network printer. Devices on your network will contact it directly over the network, it is its own print server.
