I have a netgate sg-1000 running pfsense, I had it running for a few days, now no connection, the dhcp server does not appear to be working, the vpn is down.  The lan interface was set to static, but I cannot ping it, therefore no gui to try to connect and figure out what's going on.  I have used putty to connect to the serial interface, but only get a blank screen, no login prompt. putty settings are com3 19200 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, parity none, flow control xon/xoff.  Suggestions? Please keep instructions as simple as possible, I'm fairly new to this type of work.

You are definitely using wrong settings.

OK, w0w, I have modified my settings according to the link provided, but I have received no joy, from this. No change in the results.

Apparently, this unit is toast. I shipped it back for an RMA.
