I've just started up a pfSense box for my company.
At the moment we are using a CDN connection (about 2 MBit up/1.8 Mbit down) and we need to connect our ERP software (run on Windows 2003) to a remote MS-SQL server.
But when a user download something the connection of our ERP to SQL dramatically slow down (sometimes it's not even able to connect to SQL!).

There is a way to give max priority to this connection?

    thanks in advance!

you can add a rule that match the destination port
      1433/tcp Microsoft-SQL-Server
      1434/tcp Microsoft-SQL-Monitor
      1434/udp Microsoft-SQL-Monitor

      and give them maximum priority

Could you explain how to do that in details?  :P
