      Hi everyone,

I have an working setup of pfsense + quagga + bgp and everything is working as expected. However, I'm not able to setup the ipv6 bgp session with my upstream because I can't reach his ipv6 /126 address on my pfsense machine.

I've added the /126 address on my end but when I try to ping his ipv6 address, it's unreachable. I can ping his ipv6 from outside my network, so, apparently everything is working as expected on his end.

We tried to disable all packet filtering on my pfsense (firewall disabling), but again nothing changed.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

That's weird. What kind of connection is it you have to your upstream? Since your doing BGP it doesn't seem to be a PPPoE / dialup connection, right?
I suspect the link might not be ok.
