      Hi

My hosts are on LAN, traffic out through WAN. I also have OPT1 where one server is placed. This server uses an interface connected to an openvpn client. This works as intended, however, when trying to port forward to the server, which is not using the standard gateway, port appears closed.

So far I have tried the following:

      • Verified the servers port is open (portforward through the WAN)
      • Tried changing default gateway to the VPN, this works too, but feels kind of backwards and I have to specify gateway on other rules.
      • Googled a lot, also read the "Port_Forward_Troubleshooting".

Is there any solution to this issue? Any suggestions appreciated.

If your server on opt is using a vpn, then you would have to forward the traffic down through your vpn to get to the server.
