      Hi all,
I was wondering if there was anything special that I need to activate in pfSense 2.4rc to improve DirecTV on demand streaming and downloading.

Previously I had a Linksys wrt320n cfe flash modded to be an e2000.  It was running dd-wrt.  DirecTV on demand was always slower downloading than anything else, but now with pfSense its even slower.  I can no longer watch anything as it downloads.

Is there anything special I should be looking for in pfSense logs?  I have uPNP turned on but are there logs for uPNP anywhere?  Is there an easier way to filter out the firewall log?  Should I be SSH into pfSense grepping the firewall log for the IP address of my DirecTV HR44 receiver?

I'm not sure what kind of tricks AT&T DirecTV is doing, because all other web videos on other devices work fine (Netflix, vimeo, youtube, etc…).

Appreciate the assistance.  If its not a pfSense issue I can repost in a DirecTV forum.

I don't know anything about DirecTV but, if you have the same problem with two different routers, does that not suggest the problem might be elsewhere on your network or with the DirecTV box itself?

Maybe.  Can you just tell me if these floating rules are right?  The bottom two are my DIRECTV stb IP addresses.  I want to put their traffic in a higher queue to speed it up.

"I want to put their traffic in a higher queue to speed it up. "

Doesn't work that way - unless your pipe was full and that is the reason it slow.

I have direct tv, and have no issues at all.. And I sure don't have anything special setup.  Now queues that is for sure ;)
