Recently I've switched from using the built in DNS Resolver to using BIND.

Has anyone else noted lookup failures at a higher rate with BIND enabled?

I have the logging turned up right now, what should I be looking for? (first time troubleshooting BIND)

Read the part about dnsmasq.  The recommendation is to use the resolver.

But since DNS Resolver resolves  and DNS Forwarder just forwards to whatever DNS you have entered into your DNS fields or your WAN picks up via DHCP Id bet those DNS  might be having issues?!?

Try different DNS and see if that helps.
