      I have had a need to use Packet Capture recently and noticed if I select the WAN interface either in promiscuous mode or not, it does not capture any packets. The capture is completely empty! Capturing on other interfaces runs as expected. Any ideas?

        Work fine last time I checked.  What specific snap of 2.4rc are you running..

          Also: What type of interface is your WAN? (brand/make/model/driver name and also how it's configured such as static, dhcp, pppoe, etc)
