      Hello,

I've got an issue when upgrading to 2.4.0.
We're using pfSense VMs over Proxmox. NICs are virtio and were working just fine before upgrade (don't forget to Disable Hardware Checksum Offloading)
Since the 2.4.0 upgrade, I've got the following message :

"There were error(s) loading the rules: pfctl: vtnet2: driver does not support altq - The line in question reads [0]: @ 2017-10-24 13:43:44"

It appears only for vtnet2 NIC and not the others (vtnet0 and vtnet1). I had to disable traffix shapping in order to get the NIC working.

Is it a bug, or have I done Something Wrong?

      Thank you!

vtnet has always lagged behind when it comes to extra features. vtnet2 does not have altq support yet, at least, not in 11.1 which is what pfSense 2.4 is based on.

No, that's the pf-checksum silent packet drop issue, which is a different can of worms  ;) https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=88467.0
