Has anyone run pfSense on an idustrial LTE router?
I have some that run Openwrt on a LuCi interface:

Ideally I would like to be able to install pfSense onto this type of harware platform.

      11 cheers for binary

Probably not, they are mostly MIPS devices based on low power SoCs. If it was a x86 platform it could probably work, if it is an ARM platform, it'll be really hard but might still be possible. MIPS is not possible.

There is no clear listing on what SoC they are using, if you want more information you'll need to get that data.

Thanks for your reply, it is a MIPS device.

I will attempt to use it as an OpenVPN connected device via OpenWRT (LuCi)
I have set up an OpenVPN connection to a pfSense server, but will have to dedicate some time to getting the routing working.

I have configured this fab little device to route via openvpn to my central pfsense box.
I think I will need to manually limit the routing via firewall rules; as all clients are visible to each other,
regardless of the "Inter-client communication" checkbox status.
