      Hello,

Did anyone able to use CARP on AWS? Current documentation looks like prepared for hardware version of pfSense.

      Thanks,

I'm thinking it is not going to work because of virtual IPs. In order to add WAN virtual IP -in this case it will be an EIP- you need to mark an instance and an interface that was defined previously. AWS is not going to know anything about your virtual IP and not able to assign an EIP.

So does it mean Netgate pfSense is selling partially capabile system on AWS?

You can't do that. Their AWS network will not allow the multicast between nodes, addresses are tied to specific instances, etc.
