      All,

I am running pfSense 2.3.4-RELEASE-p1 with my VPN is setup per the instructions at https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/IKEv2_with_EAP-MSCHAPv2

I have no problems connecting to services behind the pfSenese firewall on the private network and to services on the public network such as http/https/ftp/smtp/rdp/etc

However, I am not able to get my Skype, Skype for Business, or Teams to connect and send/receive messages from a remote client connected via the VPN to pfSense.

I have confirmed that my IPSec Rules allow all traffic.

      Any advice would be appreciated.

      Thanks.

      James

        All,

After much playing around, this was a Windows 10 VPN client configuration issue.

In Settings -> Network & Internet -> VPN, click on the VPN connection, then click on Advanced Settings and change VPN Proxy Settings from "automatic" to "none"

Hopefully this helps some other folks.

        Thanks.

        James
