      Hi,

I am having a pfsense configured where WAN is having Public IP and I have pointed a domain to that Public IP.
Lan IP of pfSense is 192.168.1.1

I have a web application running on my local system which is having IP 192.168.1.101 and running on port 8080.

I want to configure pfSense in way when some one hit the domain that will automatically redirect to 192.168.1.101:8080. I am able to do that on other routers.

As I am new to pfSense I dont know how it can be done.

      Thanks.

        https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/How_can_I_forward_ports_with_pfSense

If your wanting your lan clients to hit the public IP to get forwarded back in - this would be nat reflection.. Not recommended, just setup split dns so your local clients resolve this public domain fqdn to the local IP.

What part did you try and is not working?  So you did a packet capture on your wan and show the traffic getting there?

Love to help you but without more info impossible to even guess where the problem is.
