      Hello
I use pfsense 2.4.1 with LDAP authentication in proxy mode configured in browsers.
Users are invited to enter their windows credentials in the browser, when they want to surf the internet.
When they enter their credentials. If in the password there is a character of the keyboard FR (éèç ^à £ €) it is not taken into account correctly.
After several tries, the windows session is locked.
If we do not use these characters no problem (UTF8 Encoding is checked in the parameters of the LDAP server The server is a windows 2008)

      Thank you for your help.

      I'm French user

That is also a well known problem by using WLAN passwords over a web interface or a browser, the browser may
not love those "special" characters and then it will be sending rubbish to that account. Try out to use another
browser perhaps this might be solving your problem in a better way.

Thank you for the info, but the problem is the same regardless of the browser used. Mozilla firefox or Internet explorer
