When I tell it to update it errors out:

      Unable to update repository pfSense
      Error updating repositories!

      Any ideas?

Try it from the console (option 13) or shell (run pfSense-upgrade), see what (if any) errors it prints.

Nothing is wrong. SRV records do not work that way.
