    Want to use Gigabyte-GA-N3050M-D3P for the Build-Will it work well?

      Hi..Everyone..I am making a pfsense box. I just want to know whether Gigabyte-GA-N3050M-D3P is compatible? Mainly its realtek LAN NIC.

      I found that in hardware compatibility list below chips are shown and this particular motherboard has one of it.

      The re(4) driver supports RealTek RTL8139C+, RTL8169, RTL816xS, RTL811xS, RTL8168,
      RTL810xE and RTL8111 based Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet adapters.

      Can i proceed with this build?

        I will probably work a bit, but Realtek aren't good chips. Better get an Intel network card.

          get something with a quad core, and add a ebay dual intel nic
