I'm wondering if I can modify the pfsense administrator login page.  Not the CAPTIVE PORTAL page, but the main pfsense page that is blue.  I want to add a site descriptor to that page so I am sure what site I'm accessing when I login.

Possible to get to that html file and add 3 simple characters?

      Thanks,

      Roveer

You can enable "Show hostname on login banner" in general setup to show the systems hostname in the top right corner of the login page.

As I am right informed this is not so really wished by the pfSense team and developers, related to the
circumstance that many peoples were trying to place their own logo and "brand" on it an could sell it
then under their name for making money with it.

Not the CAPTIVE PORTAL page, but the main pfsense page that is blue.  I want to add a site descriptor to that page so I am sure what site I'm accessing when I login.

I am pretty sure you will be understanding now more why.

And what will be shown then on the page? How it is looking then

Between these two things I couldn't ask for anything better.  This software is constantly amazing me with all of the thought that has been put into it.  Exceeding my expectations.

              Thanks for the tips.

I was going to put my firewall hostname.

Now that i have turned on the option for hostname and set unique color for each site I'm quite happy.  Just what I wanted to do and both already features of the software.
