We recently bought sg-4860 1U. After config xml restore the device refused to boot and I had to perform a fresh install using pfSense-CE-memstick-ADI-2.4.2-RELEASE-amd64.img. But now I lost aws-wizard plugin. How can I install this plugin? Please help.

Use the factory image from portal.pfsense.org. You will need to activate your device first. Regarding the issue with config restore, my guess is that the config had VGA selected which SG-4860 does not have.

I just logged in to https://portal.pfsense.org and found pfSense-CE-2.4.2-RELEASE-amd64.ova. Is this the file I should write to a USB and then install?

No, that's VMware certified pfSense VM. Go to search for Factory Resinstall Image and download the Netgate ADI labeled image.

I am completely lost. Could you please be more specific? I am logged in to portal.pfsense.org and the only thing I see is download pfSense book, hangouts archive, payment history and edit profile. I don't see any factory images.

Found it. Had to register the device first… Using NDI and not S/N.
