      Hi guys,
Kinda new to pfSense but been playing around with it for the last couple of months. I've setup everything I need except a single thing which I can't really figure out what I'm doing wrong: Traffic shaping.

I got a small house that heavily relies on my traffic. phones, tablets, laptops computers IOT & IPTV. you name it :).
Since I do have all these devices and my network is limited to 60/3, I do want to have a shaper to prioritize the IPTV & gaming traffic.

After several tests I actually found that the modified lan party gold config fits my needs almost perfectly, but no matter how I set it up, I cant seem to forward traffic to the correct shapers. Almost everything is always going to the queue I've setup as default.

I've attached my shaper config and some configuration screenshots. Would really appreciate some feedback and support as I just can't figure out what am i doing wrong.

      Thanks!

For your floating rules that redirect the traffic, are you using MATCH or PASS action?  Which interface are you shaping on?

Right now it is set to PASS & LAN interface, as I want to prioritize the traffic going out.

Edit: Oh wow, im pretty amazed that I've managed to missed this.. Thanks KOM!

I shape on WAN since that's where the wizard put my rules.

Hi Plissje how did you end up fixing your rules?

I'm having the same issue where all my traffic that should be going into a queue isn't
