So i'm trying to set up my home network into my pfsense box. I will plug all my ethernet connected computers into the switch but I have a wireless computer that needs to connect too. How can I hook it up to the network. I have a Linksys1200ac wifi router but it seemed to give trouble in dhcp off mode, thats why I bought a switch. So has anyone got any ideas? Router to switch; which ports?

Try to set your linksys internet setting to Bridge Mode and connect a lan port to your switch.

        As always :
        Don't use the yellow port.
Give it a static IP - point it's gateway to pfSEnse LAN
        Stop DHCP.
If possible, set it to AP only mode.
        Done.
