I hope I am not double posting…. I have already done substantial research on this with no luck.

I started with pfsense on an old machine. I have 2 Gigabit NICS that were originally running at 1Gb. Since then, the motherboard died and fried those NICs. I have replaced that machine, replaced the NICs with the exact ones and they are now running at 100Mb. Defaultly these are auto configured. Where can I find a configuration file to define the media type on this hardware???

    Thanks in advance...

Typically FreeBSD is very good at auto-negotiation.  I know I thought I had a mis-configuration before and it turned out to be the T-1 router from our Telco.  You can give this a go, but know that it's risky.
