PfSense in Hyper-V Not Showing Thermal Sensor Data
-
Hi all, I've recently configured pfSense as a Hyper-V VM and for some reason the host's Xeom thermal sensor data is not being displayed on the dashboard. All I see is "(Updating…)" despite the correct option being select in Advanced > Miscellaneous, and being able to see the thermal reading elsewhere. Have a missed a step to pass this data through from the host? Thanks!

I don't think those are available in a virtual environment. In Xen and KVM it won't work by default anyway. But this is a job you should handle at hypervisor level or control-OS level anyway.

I was just looking for something easy to monitor it on the dashboard as I often keep it open, but if it's a no-go then I'll stick with monitoring on the host.
