My first build with a Dell OptiPlex 3020

Hi, I would like to start my first build with a refurbished Dell OptiPlex 3020 selling for 360 CND.

I will run these tasks on pfsense:

• OpenVPN
• Squid
• IDS/IPS using Snort
• OpenDNS
• pfblockerng
• ntop

1- Should I buy this refurbished pc?
2- What LAN card do you suggest?
3 -Do I need anything else to run pfsense?

I see from Intel webpage that the i5-4570 Processor support AES.

The PC cost around 360 CND. Do you have any suggestion for an Intel 4 port card?  Is there any difference between AES and AES-IN? Thanks

Will the NC364T works on any PCI 2.0?

Any PCI-e x4 physical slot will do. x1 and x2 will work too. The problem is that the card is x4 big and x4 electrical, and while electrical doesn't matter (PCIe scales down and up really well, you can run anything at x1 if you wanted to, even x16 cards work at x1) it does matter if the card fits. So a x1 or x2 (I'm not sure if x2 even exists) will work, but only if the slot is open at the end.

So, if we check your system it should have PCIe slots, and thus it will work.
